Bio

Alba Hahn was born in Nebraska, a daughter of Frank James Rehak 1884–1952 and Francis A. Svoboda 1887–1969. She had siblings Milo Stanley 1907–1969, Mary 1910–2007 and Mildred 1917–?. She had a half-sibling Fanchon Steffen 1928-2012 from her mother's second marriage to Charles Nevin Steffen 1887–1965. Alba married Philip F. Hahn 1906–1997 in 1928 in Osceola, Nebraska. They had children Shirley Ann 1929–2002 and Dale Philip 1932–2002. The family lived in David City, Nebraska where Philip worked as a bookkeeper and Alba was a school teacher. They moved to Sioux City, Iowa by 1940 where Philip was an adjuster. They retired to Sun City, Arizona.
