Bio

Philip Hahn was born in Nebraska, a son of Hugo Adalbert Hahn 1874–1943, an immigrant from Weissenfels, Germany, and Frantiska 'Fanny' Kovar 1872–1943, an immigrant from Rabstyn(Borova) Moravia. He had siblings Louisa F. 1896–1970, Victor H. 1898–1901, Eugene Elmer 1900–1979, Joseph B. 1902–1904, Esther Ruth 1904–1984, Marion 1908–1990 and Dorothy Rosetta 1911–2001. His family lived in David City, Nebraska where his father owned a grocery store. Philip married Alba Libbian Rehak Philip F. Hahn 1906–2001 in 1928 in Osceola, Nebraska. They had children Shirley Ann 1929–2002 and Dale Philip 1932–2002. The family lived in David City where Philip worked as a bookkeeper and Alba was a school teacher. They moved to Sioux City, Iowa by 1940 where Philip was an adjuster for the General Exchange Insurance Corporation. They retired to Sun City, Arizona.
