Bio
Lillian Dry, 91, of Bay City passed away February 28, 2017. She was born April 27, 1925 in Fayetteville, Texas to the late Paul Vanglar and Carrie Cervenka Venglar. She was an X-ray Technician at Matagorda General Hospital for many years. Lillian was a longtime resident of Bay City, and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She enjoyed her mornings reading the newspaper and listening to polka music. She was preceded in death by her husband William O. Dry. Survivors include son Jim (Dianne) Dry; sister Doris Strauss; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Friday, March 3, 2017 at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM with Rev. Greg Korenek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Adapted from Taylor Bros. Funeral Home obituary
