"Dunk" Flowers, 83, a native and life long resident of Robertsdale, AL died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at a local healthcare facility. He served as a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include a daughter, Eileen Butler: a son, Bobby Flowers of Houston; three sisters, Vera Bonner of Robertsdale, Verdon Diamond of Pensacola, Florida, and Joyce Chamberlin of Magnolia Springs; two brothers Elvin Flowers and R.A. Flowers both of Robertsdale; seven grand children, 10 great-grand children: numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral Services were held Saturday; Dec. 10, 2005 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home. Burial followed at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Robertsdale. The family requests memorial donations are made to the American Cancer Society, 26148 Capital Drive. Suite F. Daphne, AL 36526. Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Robertsdale, AL.
