Bio

Betty died Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Betty R. Steiner was born November 14, 1933 in Lindsay, Nebraska to Tony and Elsie (Hamling) Oberhauser. She attended Lindsay Holy Family Catholic School and graduated high school with the class of 1952. Betty married Dennis P. Steiner on May 30, 1958 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. She was employed by J. C. Penneys, Becton & Dickenson Co. and worked as a waitress at Adams Cafe, Wunderlichs and Stack and Steak where she retired after 21 1/2 years. Betty was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church where she served as a member of Eucharistic Adoration Hour and Ladies of the Lord.
