Bio

Son of John Philby and Irene Venard, and husband of Anna K. Pollock Gallagher. He was killed while filming a movie in which he was on horseback. The horse stumbled on an obstacle causing him to be thrown, ultimately being trampled by the horses behind him. Married in Kenosha, Wisconsin on September 28, 1901. Anna's parents were Richard D. Gallagher and Anna C. Jackson. Father of Richard, Delight, Jack and Inez.
