The Daily Inter Lake Sunday, September 16, 1962 page two MRS. EMMA NEES DIES FRIDAY Mrs. Emma Myrtle Nees, 83, died in Kalispell Friday afternoon. She was a minister and the widow of the late Rev. Lawrence G. Nees who died in 1954. She had been a resident of Immanuel Lutheran Home. Mrs. Nees is survived by her ten children, Mrs. Lois Murphree of Oneonta, Ala.; Mrs. Grace Powell of Kalispell; Stanley Nees of Poplar; Mrs. Eva Larson of Minneapolis; Harold Nees of Poplar; Mrs. Corlea Marshall of Kalispell; Mrs. LaVerne Klein of Dallas, Tex.; L. Guy Nees of Los Angeles; Mrs. Mildred Sutherland of San Francisco; and Mrs. Dorothy Dennis of Roswell, New Mexico. There are also 30 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Waggner & Campbell Chapel by Rev. Harold MacMillan of the Church of the Nazerine and burial will follow in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery. ****** See also the September 25 edition of this paper, page eight.
