VALPARAISO VISITOR, October 23, 1924-----ARTHUR WESLEY HYATT PASSES AWAY--Arthur Wesley Hyatt was born in Loup county, near Almeria on December 19th, 1894, where he lived until thirteen years of age, then with his parents moved to Valparaiso. There he resided until in the year of 1918 when he was called for service in the World War, going with the 88 division. He returned in June of 1919 being gone just one year. He was married to Alma Rogers on October 18th, 1922. To this union one child was born, who passed away at three days of age. He united with the Christian Church at a young age. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and aged mother, five sisters and three brothers, all being present but one sister and one brother. His sisters and brothers are: William Hyatt and Nellie Rogers of Valparaiso, John Hyatt of Almeria, Ida League of Kearney, Milbira Wertz of Danube, Minnesota, Mollie Robertson of Danube, Minnesota, and Ruba Vinnidge of Corina, California. His father departed from this life seven years ago. Arthur passed away at the Lincoln Hospital on Sunday morning, October 19th at 8 o'clock at the age of twenty-nine yeas and ten months. Funeral services was held at the Christian church on Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock conducted by Rev. Doodell. A Masonic Order took charge at the grave.
