CHILDRESS - C.L. "Jack" Kindle, 92, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Childress Cemetery with Dr. Mike Henderson officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Kindle was born July 27, 1914, in Childress County to Walter Henry and Ella Mitchell Kindle. He worked for TxDOT as a machine operator for 19 years. Survivors include his wife, Eunice E. Kindle; four sons, , Berchel Kindle, Bo Kindle and Robert Kindle, all of Childress, and Richard Kindle of Amarillo; two daughters, Jackie Kindle of Greenville, Carolyn "Tooter" Latham of Clarendon; two sisters, Tot Morris of Childress and Doris Wiley of Hollis, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
