"Delorous “ Dee” D. Stoupa age 91 of Fremont, passed away October 16, 2016 at Saunders Medical Center Long Term Care in Wahoo, Nebraska. She was born February 14, 1925, to Joseph and Ethel (Fisher) Wesely in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. She was a 1942 graduate of Cedar Bluffs High School and attended Midland College for two years. She studied Private Secretary Training for Insurance Underwriters. Dee married Ed Stoupa in 1945 and they farmed at Dwight, NE from 1945 to 1952. They moved to Fremont and she worked at Insurance Underwriters Corp from 1960 – 1962, she was a clerk and typist in District Court in Fremont from 1962 to 1964 and held various secretarial and bookkeeping jobs. For over ten years, she worked for Eastern Nebraska Office of Aging. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont, former member of the New Life Choir, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Polka Lovers Club of America, FOE Auxiliary 200, Memorial Hospital of Dodge County Auxiliary, Evening Business and Professional Women, and the National Health Federation. She is survived by sisters, Helen Placek of Omaha, NE, Neola (Richard) Boyer of Melrose, Minnesota, Nadine Jones of Fremont, NE, brother- in-law, Gilbert Eggers of Fremont, NE; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Tanya and Roxanna Camarillo. Delorous was preceded in death by parents; son and daughter, Kevin and Karen Stoupa; sisters, Evelyn Wesely, Evangeline Vojtech , Ethel Eggers; brother, Orven Wesely. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Thursday, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. Visitation on Wednesday, 5-8 PM, with a Rosary at 7 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation continues 1 hour prior to service at church. Burial at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church or Nebraska Children’s Home Society in Omaha."
