Bovina Rites Set For Joe Hromas BOVINA(Special)-Services for Joe Hromas, 86, will be at 10:30 a.m. today in First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Larry Heard, pastor, and Cecil Bunch, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Albany Cemetery, with arrangements by Claborn Funeral Home of Friona. Hromas, a retired farmer, died about 4:30 p.m. Monday at his home here following an apparent heart attack. Justice of the Peace Wilbur Charles ruled death due to natural causes. A native of Kansas, Hromas came to the Bovina area 46 years ago from Moran. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Eugene of Olney, J.W. of Levelland and Glenn of Bovina; a brother, E.A. of Bovina; three sisters, Mrs. W.H. Tinsley and Mrs. Emmett Tinsley, both of Hico, and Mrs. Mary Duncan of Albany; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jim Owens, Jay Sherrill, Kenneth Johnson, Sterling Donaldson, Levi Johnson and Harry Johnson.
