Daughter of Peter P. & Rose M. (Shemek) Mimick. She attended school in Columbus. Frances married Albert X. O'Connor March 10, 1945 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cathedral in Concordia, Kansas. The couple lived in Thompsonville, Connecticut until moving back to Columbus in 1946. Frances worked at Dale Electronics, Beneficial Tax Services and co-owned and managed A Affordable Travel and Tax Service until retiring in 1999. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, past president of the V.F.W. #3704 Auxiliary, past president of the Navy Mothers and was an Admiral in the Nebraska Navy.
