Bio

George Washington Hughes son of Moses Hughes and Sarah Isbell married Margaret Taylor February 26, 1856 in Yalobusha County, Ms. George was in the Confederate Army as a Private 2 Partisan Rangers, 2nd Regiment. While he was serving he died of brain fever in Nashville, Tn. Unknown where he is buried. George and Margaret's children: Maryann Isabell, John Franklin and Moses E. "Modie".
