Sarah Isbell was the daughter of Pendleton Isbell and Sarah Henderson. Sarah married Moses Hughes November 19, 1826 in Pendleton, South Carolina. Moses and Sarah's children: Frances Marion, Rhoda Isabelle, George Washington, Sarah Elizabeth, Rebecca Melissa and Benjamin Franklin Hughes.
