Bio
Charles Travis Bonner married Dora Elizabeth Ivy, daughter of James Stripling Ivy and Sallie Ward, on June 21, 1952. Dora enjoyed a reputation for being smart in school and graduated as valedictorian from Fairfield High School in 1951. They made their home east of Fairfield on US 84 next door to her parents.Dora served as librarian for Fairfield Public Library and as a substitute in the United States Post Office in Fairfield. They were members of Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield where she served as pianist. They were parents of two children: James Travis and Elizabeth Ann. Dora died with cancer on May 13, 1981.
