Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. James McGinlay officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery under direction of Coker-Mathews-Peters. Pallbearers will include Paul Mathews, Floyd Mason, Bill Quattlebaum, B.H. Newman, Cavlin Stapleton and King Davenport. Mr. Cole was born Aug. 17, 1910, in Baird, the son of Charlie P. and Maggie Smith Cole. He married the former Allie Bickley on Feb. 14, 1940 in Greenville. An inspector at LTV Electrosystems, Mr. Cole was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Allie Cole of Greenville; four sisters, Miss Ruby Cole of Van, Miss Abbie Cole of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Louise Vaughn of Greenville and Mrs. Sally Turner of Floyd; two brothers, Sperry Cole of Dallas and Homer Cole of Plains.
