Bio
Cleo was born in Molen, Utah on May 12, 1915 to Thorvald and Lucy Rasmussen. They moved to Ferron, Utah, where Cleo spent her youth. She attended BYU and later married Ross J Powell in 1942. Together they had three children; daughter, Suzanne Powell, daughter, Marjorie (Powell) Singer and a son, James R Powell. She also has three grandchildren; Michele Powell, Li Singer and Anastasia Singer. She was a retail clothing department and store manager from 1962 to 1980. Our mom was such a loving and caring mother and such a good friend to all of us throughout her life. There are no words to express how much we love her and will miss her. We have all have been so fortunate to have her as our mom for all these years. Our dear mother passed away at 101 years old on August 1, 2016.
