Bridges will at 2:30 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Renfro officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. He died Sunday morning at a local hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1913, in Hopkins County, he was the son of William H. and Zulla Mooney Bridges. He was the grandson of early Hunt County settlers R.W. and Rosie Mooney. He married Helen Allen. He was a retired bus driver for Mooney Motor Coaches. Survivors include a son, Willam Arlis Bridges, of Paris; a sister, Khomatee Preston of Mesquite; an aunt, Bernice McKay of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his son, Marvin Bridges, in 1986, and his wife, in 1981. Pallbearers are Melvin Jones, Marvin Jones, Calvin Jones, Bruce Mooney, E.A. Junell and Morris Bowden.
