He was the owner and operator of the Genesis Bonding Company and a Baptist. Surviving are his father of Greenville; daughter, Stephanie Bridges of Fort Worth; brother, William Bridges of Paris; aunt, Khomatee Preston of Mesquite and great-aunt, Bernice McKay of Greenville. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Bridges died Sunday in a Dallas hospital. A native of Mount Pleasant, he was born Feb. 13, 1955 to Marvin and Helen Allen Bridges. He married De De Richey on Aug. 8, 1975 in Garland. He was a bondsman and owner of Genesis Bonding Agency. Mr. Richey (sic) was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife; his father, Marvin Bridges of Greenville; daughters, Stephanie L. Bridges of Arlington and Christine Woodson; a brother, William Arlis Bridges of Paris; an aunt, Khomatee Preston of Mesquite; and great aunt, Bernice McKay of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his mother.
