RUBY STROTHER Sweetwater - Services for Ruby Lee Strother, 74, of Sweetwater, who died at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at her home, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McCoy Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Goates of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Born June 21, 1907, she married Henry Allen Strother in Sweetwater. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Flo Cagle of Childress and Nancy Powell of Spring; a son, Mel Gilliam of Temple; a step-daughter, Anna Beth Spillers of Abilene; a step-son, Allen Strother of Loma Linda, Calif.; a sister, Velma Frost of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
