County Register Clint Locke Dies Widely Known In this County Clint Locke, 41 year-old Register of Lawrence County, died Sunday night in Sarasota, Fla. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but the body will be brought back here for funeral and burial. Mr. Locke was a native of this county and a son of the late Clarence and Florence Ray Locke. He was serving his second term as Register of Lawrence County. He had suffered polio when a child, but had been able to be fairly active and had held bookkeeping positions prior to being elected to office. He is survived by one brother, Ray Locke, of Ethridge; two half-brothers, Edgar Locke of Jacksonville, Fla. and Frank Locke of Columbia; and a sister, Mrs. J.C. Shelby of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. He was a nephew of Will Locke of Ethridge, Bobby Clint Locke and Mrs. Madie McDonad of this city and Mrs. Icie Ray Tyler, also of this city.
