Bio

Orvin D. Lamke, age 85, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away May 20, 2016 at his home. He was born September 22, 1930 in Palisades, Minnesota, to the late Charles and Pearl (Nix) Lamke. Orvin served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from the railroad. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva Lamke in 2008 and 7 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Pam (Hare) Lamke, brothers, Al Lamke, and Roland Lamke, sisters, Pearl Welcome, and Jeanette Watson, step children, Sandra Maupin, Dan Whitman, Dave Whitman, Julie Clark, and Corey Stantz, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held June 2, 2016 at 1pm at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, Ohio, 43560 meeting at the front gates at 12:45pm, with the Lucas County Burial Corp. performing Military Honors.
