Bio

James Edward “Edd” Peterson, 79, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Born August 17, 1936, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Marvin and Hattie Cook Peterson. Mr. Peterson attended New Beginnings Baptist Church. He was a man of faith and of many talents, having been self- employed most of his working career as a carpenter and concrete finisher as well as auto repair. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and pretty much anything outdoors. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Hensley “Bob” Peterson. He is survived by his wife Virginia Jeffers Peterson; daughters, Debbie Ballew and Connie Morgan (Ronald); siblings, Leonard Peterson and Nellie Ruth Hughes; four grandchildren, Shannon Smith, Tyler Morgan, Jordan Morgan and Skye Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Asa and Maylee Morgan and many other loving family and friends. Graveside Services will be Friday, 3:00 p.m.in Drake Cemetery at Star City. The family will receive friends before and after services.
