Bio

Virginia Alice Jeffers Alexander Peterson, 81, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. Born November 28, 1934 at Fountain Hill, Mrs. Peterson was a daughter of the late Coley Jeffers and Effie Holland Jeffers. She was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by two husbands, Victor Alexander and Edd Peterson; a son, Delaine Alexander; siblings, Bertie Shaw, Ella Mae Lovett, and Hubert Eugene Jeffers. She is survived by her son, Bobby Alexander; six grandsons, Vic, Wesley, Jason, Johnathon, Kyle & Christian; six great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be in Flat Creek Cemetery at Fountain Hill in Ashley County, Saturday, 3:00 p.m.
