Bio

Robert Hensley Peterson, 80 of Sparks, Nevada, previously of Moscow, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his home. Born April 16, 1934, in Jefferson County, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Marvin and Hattie Cook Peterson. He graduated from Star City High School. He then enlisted in the United States Army, serving in the 3rd Armored Division. Mr. Peterson was a Brakeman and Conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for thirty-four years, retiring in 1995. He was a Baptist and a member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Elmer Peterson.
