Wife-Agnes L. Hofacker Edward A. Stingle 313 W Summer St , Appleton Age 94, passed away Friday evening following a lingering illness He was born August 26, 1879 in the Town of Cicero and had farmed in the Black Creek and Appleton areas until his retirement in 1946 when he moved to his present address. Mr Stingle was a member of St Therese Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society He is sur vived by his wife, Agnes Hofacker Stingle, four daughters, Mrs George (Martha) Griesbach, Appleton, Mrs John (Arline) Griesbach, Black Creek, Mrs Joseph (Genevieve) Thurner, Appleton, and Mrs David (Marie) Jedwabnv, Menasha, a son Rufus J , Appleton, a sister, Mrs Mary FeLton, Es canaba, Michigan, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a greatgreat-granddaughter Complete funeral services will be held Monday at 10 30 a m from St Therese Catholic Church with Rev Joseph Bestler officiating Interment will be in St Edward Ceme tery, Mackville Friends may call at the Ellenbecker-Andersen Funeral Home Sunday from 3 until 9 p m and on Monday from 8 a m until the hour of the services. The prayer service will be held at 8 p m Sunday. Appleton Post Crescent, Saturday, July 13, 1974
