Mr. Odie Odell LaRue, age 95, of Crockett passed away Tuesday April 12, 2016 at Houston County Medical Center. He was born November 12, 1920 in Lovelady to parents, William Harris LaRue and Effie Harriston LaRue and proudly served his country during WWII as a U.S. Army Corporal. He owned and operated Greenville Ford Tractor for many years and retired from American Can. He was preceded in death by his wives, Betty LaRue and Jessie Bennett LaRue; parents, William and Effie LaRue; sons, Charles LaRue, William LaRue; brothers, Tilford LaRue, Glover LaRue, Gordan LaRue, Bill LaRue; sisters, Loma Mays and Loraine Hibbetts. Mr. Odie Odell LaRue will be laid to rest by his wife, Betty in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. CALLAWAY-ALLEE FUNERAL HOME
