Willie Rowland Roscoe - Willie E. Rowland, 91, of Roscoe, died Tuesday at Roscoe Nursing Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Roscoe United Methodist Church in Roscoe. The Rev. Norman Patton, pastor of Roscoe United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Roscoe Cemetery, directed by Cate-Spencer Funeral Home of Sweetwater. Born Willie Bennett on Nov. 5, 1894 in Callahan County, she lived in the Roscoe area for 80 years. She married Joe B. Rowland on July 4, 1928 at Roscoe. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Roscoe. Survivors include her husband of Roscoe; a sister, Oda Lee Kreidel of Azle; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Charlie Bourland, Homer Richburg, Pat Soules, Frank Ed Cleckler, Stanley McGlothlin, Bob Potter and Chubby Johnson.
