Kathrene "Kate" (Wharton) Jones was born February 23, 1900, daughter of Arthur Dickson and Katherine (White) Wharton. She died on February 7, 1948 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Kate married December 26, 1919 Elliott Powell Jones. Three children were born to this union: Elliott Powell Jones, Jr., Josephine Jones, and Kathrene Jones.
