Bio

Arthur Dickson Wharton was born in 1871 and was the son of Arthur Dickson and Mary Theresa (Kendrick) Wharton. On July 5, 1894 in Rutherford County, Tennessee he married Katherine White, daughter of Frank and Joanna Elizabeth (Miller) White. Seven children were born to this union: Frank White Wharton, Arthur Dickson Wharton, Kathrene Wharton, Felix Miller Wharton, Harvey Kendrick Wharton, Joe Miller Wharton, and Walter Houston Wharton.
