Masonic Last Rites For Irwin Eschliman Last services for Irwin W. Eschliman, 71, were held at the Hastings – Pearson chapel Tuesday. Aug. 21 at two pm Rev. Richard Atherton of the Ord Methodist church officiated and burial was at Graceland cemetery in Ord. Masons conducted lodge rites, Ord Lodge 103 AF & AM taking charge. Mr. Eschliman was born in Bellwood, Nebr., Apr. 11, 1891 to Jonas and Elizabeth Eschliman. The family moved to Greeley county where he grew to manhood and married Millie Baldwin in 1910. To them three sons were born. They farmed in Greeley county until moving to Ord in 1926, where he went into the seed and grain business, until failing health forced him to retire. He died at the Burwell Hospital Friday, Aug. 17. He is survived by his wife, sons Glen of Ord and Harley of Kearney, four grandchildren, Gary of Santa Clara, Calif., Mrs. Glennis Curry of Casper, Wyo., Dennis and Judi of Kearney. There is one great granddaughter, Linda Curry. Also two sisters, Mrs. Stella Snodgrass of Marland, Okla., Mrs. Pearl. Hershe of Kansas City, Mo., and a brother, Richard of David City.
