Funeral services for Lou Bailey 69, Murchison have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens. Mrs. Bailey passed away Tuesday in Tyler. Lou was born September 28, 1946 in Bryan, Texas to the late Albin Frank and Elizabeth Helen Simecek Quitta. She had been a resident of Murchison for the last 5 years moving there from Lindale. She was a very talented seamstress and loved to crochet. There was nothing that she couldn't make. She loved gardening and especially loved the time she spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Quitta. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Hill, Bullard, adopted son; Don Langley, Ben Wheeler, grandchildren; Tiffany Liming and husband Teague, Walters, Ok., Heather Alas and husband Xavier, Tyler, James Hill, Tyler, great grandchildren; Luke Liming, Cole Liming, Iker Alas and Anthony Alas, Sister; Marie Thacker, Chapel Hill, brother; Wes Quitta and wife Judy, Murchison. Pallbearers will be Xavier Alas, Teague Liming, James Hill, Jimmy Hill, Nigel Vale and Wes Quitta. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home. If desired memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas Homeplace 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, Texas 75701.
