Bruce Jacob Hoffbauer, 56, passed away on December 10, 2015, in David City, Nebraska. He was born September 12, 1959 in David City, the son of Arthur John and Virginia Marie (Hotovy) Hoffbauer. Bruce was raised on the family farm with his six siblings. He was a 1978 graduate of East Butler High School. Bruce was a 35 year employee of Henningsen Foods in David City, having just recently retired. He attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard. Bruce enjoyed softball, golf, bowling and kids! Bruce is preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur J. and Virginia Hoffbauer; and his sister, Cheryl Underwood. Bruce is survived by: his siblings and their spouses, Arthur W., Jr. and Joan Hoffbauer, Allen and Karen Hoffbauer and Deb and Greg Novacek, Brenda Grgurich, Duane and Shirley Hoffbauer; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard, Nebraska. Interment in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Brainard. Obituary information from Zabka Funeral Home, Seward, Nebraska.
