Drucilla Carter was born in Monroe County Tennessee in 1830. In 1850, she married William R. Beauchamp in Lebannon, McNairy Co, Tennessee. They had 8 known children, James E., G.W., J.C., William R. "Bill", Samuel Houston, Addie Belle, Leona Victoria "Vic", and Alonzo "Lonnie". If the birth year on the gravestone of W.R. Beauchamp who is buried in Jacksonville City Cemetery is wrong he may be Drucilla's husband. Her husband was born in 1828,the date on his marker is 1838.
