Herald Coaster, September 27, 1983: Funeral services for Pauline R. Uherek, 68, were held Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Highway 6. She died Sunday at her home. A long-time resident of Rosharon, Uherek is survived by her husband, Willie M. Uherek, Rosharon; a son, Gene W. Uherek, Sandy Point; three daughters, Helen V. Alusek, Iowa Colony, Dorothy M. Mesecke, Manvel, and Arlene J. Vojtek, Rosenberg; two sisters, Annie Raska, Victoria, and Viola Jezek, Damon; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Burial was held at Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland. Funeral services were under the direction of South Park Funeral Home in Pearland.
