Adeline Quinn, 91, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Ridgewood Retirement Community in Bennington, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 17, 10:30 A.M. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Del Lape celebrating the Mass. Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Gass Haney Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at the church. Adeline was born October 26, 1924, in Brainard, Nebraska, to Emil and Barbara (Rejda) Janek. She grew up in Brainard and graduated from Brainard High School. On January 13, 1951, Adeline was united in marriage to James Quinn in Columbus. They lived in Columbus where Adeline was a housewife and mother to their children. She enjoyed being able to stay home and raise their kids and later help with her grandchildren. She liked to go dancing, singing, and spending time with her family. Adeline is survived by: Daughter: Patti (Terry) McGovern of Omaha, NE Son: Mike (Jeanne) Quinn of Columbus, NE Daughter-in-law: Janet Quinn of Columbus, NE Grandchildren: Daniel (Crystal) Quinn of Columbus, NE Tammy Quinn of Boise, ID Carla (Brock) McEntee of Columbus, NE Alison McGovern of Omaha, NE 11 Great Grandchildren Adeline was preceded in death by: Parents: Emil & Barbara Janek Husband: James Quinn Son: Thomas Quinn 5 Sisters 1 Brother
