Henrietta G. Rejda, 92 yrs., of Fremont, NE died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Nye Legacy in Fremont. She was born August 26, 1918 at Brainard, NE and attended Buffalo Head School. Henrietta Janak married James A. Rejda on October 11, 1939 at Assumption Catholic Church in Omaha. The couple lived in Omaha where Henrietta worked various jobs until moving to Denver, CO in 1943. They returned to Brainard, NE in 1945 and lived there until moving to Fremont in 1975. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Carol & Dennis Kouma of Columbus, NE and Judy & Michael Rak of Omaha; 2 sisters, Beatrice Hammon of Omaha and Adeline Quinn of Columbus, NE; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil & Barbara(Rejda)Janak; husband, James, who died June 22, 1992; brother, Raymond Janak; and 3 sisters, Helen Polvika, Dorothy Slaughter and Evelyn Flowers. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 19th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. Rosary/Vigil Service will be held at 7 PM, Monday, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation on Monday from 3 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home and on Tuesday at church 1hr prior to service. Burial will be 2 PM on Tuesday at Holy Trinity Cemetery at Brainard, NE. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
