Son of William & Edith (Coe) Quinn. James grew up in Oxford and graduated from High School in 1943. On October 6, 1943, James entered the U.S. Navy and served in WWII as an Aviation Radio Man. He was honorably discharged on April 17, 1946. He married Adeline Janak in 1950 in Columbus. James worked in Columbus as a Lineman for Cornhusker Public Power for many years. After his retirement, James went to work for the City of Columbus. He enjoyed going dancing and was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan. James is survived by: Wife - Adeline Quinn of Columbus, NE Daughter - Patti (Terry) McGovern of Omaha, NE Son - Mike (Jeanne) Quinn of Columbus, NE Sister - Donna Mollring of Hollbrook, NE Sister - Dorothy Garrison of Alma, NE Grandchildren - Daniel Quinn of Columbus, NE Tammy Quinn of Boise, ID Carla McEntee of Shelby, NE Alison McGovern of Omaha, NE 8 - Great Grandchildren Daughter-in-law - Janet Quinn of Columbus, NE James was preceded in death by: Parents - William & Edith Quinn Son - Thomas Quinn
