Ibera Johnson Bateman was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Johnson and Minnie Johnson. She married Virgil Thomas Bateman in 1920 in Van Zandt Co. TX. They had 3 sons and 1 daughter. Preceded in death by husband of 51 years, Virgil T. Bateman, 1970; daughter, Mildred Bateman; two sons, Wayman Bateman and Norman V. Bateman. Survivors; son, Billy Neil Bateman; daughter-in-law, Nelda Bateman; sisters, Fontilla Holman, Merline Morrison; brother, Harold Johnson; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and two great-great-grandchildren.
