Extracted from The Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Fort Worth, TX) Sunday, August 2, 1992 Vera Carter BRECKENRIDGE -- Vera Carter of Breckenridge, a homemaker, died Friday at a Breckenridge hospital. She was 87. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Seventh-day Adventist Church of Breckenridge, where she was a member. Cryptside service will be at 3:30 p.m. in Laurel Land Mausoleum in Dallas. Morehart Mortuary in Breckenridge is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Carter was born near Bristol and moved from Dallas to Breckenridge in 1978. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Memorials may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Survivors: Sister, Mary Sayre of Breckenridge; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
