Montgomery Rites Held Sweetwater - Funeral for Mrs. Della Montgomery, 79, was held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Cate-Spencer Chapel. Max Hughes, minister of Lamar Street Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Sweetwater Cemetery. A resident of Nolan County for 73 years, Mrs. Montgomery died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pecan Grove Nursing Home after an illness of 18 months. She was born in Erath County on December 18, 1883 and moved with the family to Nolan County in 1890. The J. S. McElroys settled near County Line School east of Sweetwater where her father ranched and farmed. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Ada Anderson of Waco, Mrs. Callie Rasberry and Mrs. Ben Wade, both of Sweewater; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Effie Montgomery; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
