HOMER N. BULLOCK, SWEETWATER, DIES; RITES SET TODAY Sweetwater - Homer N. Bullock, 75, retired electrician here, died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday in Simmons Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Fourth & Elm St. Church of Christ with the minister, Paul Rogers, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home. Born June 5, 1889, in Reliance, Texas, he married Pearl Payne, who died in 1943. He and Mrs. Charity [Cardwell] Stroebel were married July 19, 1957. He was a member of both the Elks and Masonic Lodges and had lived here since 1918. Surviving are his wife and a sister, Mrs. Henry Beall of Baytown. I believe the "Napolian" spelling found on his Death Certificate was either a typo or simply misspelled by the person recording the information.
