Nannie Bennett Sweetwater - Nannie Mae Bennett, 83, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at her residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery. She was born March 12, 1916 in Oplin. She was a member of the Assembly of God. Survivors include three sons, Lavelle Bennett of Sweetwater, Gerald Bennett of Leonard and Derwood Bennett of Maysville, N.C.; three brothers, Grady Haynes of Abilene, Vaughn Haynes of Farrington, N.M. and Weldon Haynes of Arizona; a sister, Ruby Mann of Arizona; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
