Bio

Charles married Harriett N. Cooper and they had three children. Sons Charles Melvin, John Eldon and Franklin Charles McKinley all three died in Council Bluffs Iowa and are buried there. ---------- Charles is a Civil War Veteran, having served in Company D, 12th Regiment, Illinois Infantry. He was also a member of the GAR.
