Bio
Bonham Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cooper Funeral Home here for Mrs. Betty L. Lacy, 88, of Bonham, who died Tuesday morning in a Bonham rest home. Rev. Leon Martin of Sherman and Rev. Henry Green of Bonham, Nazarene Church ministers, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove. She was born Oct. 10, 1879 in Mississippi, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Essary. Survivors are two sons, Jay Lacy of Denison and Fred Lacy of Fort Smith, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Ira Wigley of Gober and Mrs. Madge Kilman of Borger; and Mrs. Perve Walton of Denison; a brother, Charlie Essary and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Mathis, both of Corinth, Miss.; and a number of grandchildren.
