Owens, with five children in home; Andrew J. is listed as born in LA which is incorrect, all born in AL. Two dwellings before are Hugh Hamentree (Hammontree) and wife, Rachel, and 7 children and S-in-L, Gabrel (Gabriel Alonzo) Caskey. Sherreldia and Houston T. were the parents of 15 children: Andrew Jackson,1840,died in Civil War; Nancy C.,1843; Missouri Ann,1845; Dialtha Jane,1847; Rachel B.,1848; unknown,abt1851; unknown,abt1853; Thomas A.,1855; Gabriel Houston,1858; Sarah Ann,1861; Steward (Stewart) S.,1864; Sarilda Angeline,1866; John D.,1869; Charles Taylor,1870; and Belzora,1872. Mother and father buried in old section of Arcadia Cemetery, Arcadia, Bienville Parish, in unmarked graves. She and husband have separate gravestones, both very ornate.
