Jul 9, 1970 - Page 1 Carl George, 87, Dies, Services at 2 p.m. Thursday Funeral services for Carl George, 87, who died at a Hastings hospital Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from Emmanuel Reformed Church. Burial will be in the Stocham cemetery (sic). He had been hospitalized for about six weeks. Mr. George had been a lifelong resident of Hamilton county (sic) where he farmed until he retired and moved to Sutton in 1960. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Max Williams of Humansville, Mo. and Mrs. Leonard Schlepp of St. Francis, Kans.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ted George of Sutton; one sister, Mrs. Rose Frye of Aurora; a brother Paul of Springfield, Ore.; 9 grandchildren' 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
