"Todd Herre, 57 yrs., of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully on October 22, 2015 in Omaha. Todd was born February 11, 1958 in Fremont, NE to Fred and Kathleen Herre. He grew up in Fremont and attended St. Patrick's Grade School and was a 1976 graduate of Fremont High School. He then settled in Omaha to have a history of sales at I-Eugenes and Hospe's Music until he became owner of Figby's Restaurant from 1992 until 2005. Shortly after the sale of his business, he experienced an onset of health problems that he fought courageously to the end, with loved ones by his side, while maintaining his keen sense of humor. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Herre of Omaha; brothers, Mike and wife, Karen Herre of Omaha and Patrick and wife, Kathy Herre of Caldwell, ID; sister, Susan Rockidge of Omaha; 5 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews; and his dog, Toby. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Herre and grandparents. Funeral Mass will be 1 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont, NE. The Rev. Father Dave Reeson will officiate. Visitation with family receiving friends on Monday from 5 PM to 8 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and on Tuesday at church 1 hour prior to service.
