Winterset Madisonian - February 12, 1941 Winterset , Iowa Mrs. Lydia Blasingham Buried Here Saturday. Former Resident Passed Last Thursday at Age of 86 Years Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Blasingham, former resident of this county who died last Thursday at Marshalltown, were held here last Saturday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home. The services were held in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ, and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery. Mrs. Blasingham was 86 years old and was living at the Iowa Soldiers' home in Marshalltown at the time of her death. She had been at the Soldiers' home for the past two years. While in Winterset she had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith. Her early life was spent in Wisconsin. ************************************* On March 10, 1897 Lydia was united in marriage to Thomas Alva Blasingham., by J Lemler, J.P., at Hillsdale, Barron County, Wisconsin, in a ceremony witnessed by N.E.
