Salina Journal Friday, October 19, 1990 Blanche E. Stratton BELOIT—Blanche E. Stratton, 87, Beloit, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 1990, at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit. Mrs. Stratton was born Blanche E. Koch on Nov. 6, 1902, at Beattie. She was the retired owner of S&S Drugstore, Beloit, and a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild and the Catholic Daughters of America, all of Beloit. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean, who died in 1970, and a grandson. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Hennis and Marilyn Vossman, both of Beloit; four sisters; a brother, Kenneth, address unknown; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, the Rev. James Hoover officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A Catholic Daughters of America rosary will be said at 5 p.m. Sunday at Harrison Funeral Home, Beloit. A parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the church memorial trust fund. Visitation is at the funeral home.
